Pembroke Pines
Pembroke Pines is a tranquil suburban city located in central Broward County - to the west of Hollywood and stretching all the way west to the Everglades and Sawgrass. A variety of housing options are available in Pembroke Pines but is mostly a community of single family homes in well-manicured subdivisions. A variety of rental and condominium garden-style developments can be found as well.
The town started as agricultural land occupied by dairy farms and grew after World War II as servicemen were retiring. Now, Pembroke Pines is the largest city in Broward County - larger even than Fort Lauderdale, and is the 11th largest city in Florida!
